A man died Thursday afternoon, the result of being placed in a choke hold by another man during an argument, according to police.
Timothy Jones, 33, has been charged with felonious assault but could end up facing more charges in connection with the death of Corey Grimm, WLWT Channel 5 reports.
According to Local 12, Jones invited Grimm to his home and got into an argument about drug use.
Police say Jones used a “jujitsu-style” choke hold on Grimm until Grimm became unconscious. Police were called to the home at about 5 a.m. and performed CPR on Grimm, who was then taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Grimm was placed on life support but died Thursday afternoon.
The incident remains under investigation.
