CLEVELAND, Ohio — A man was wounded in the leg on the West Side in what is the third Labor Day shooting reported by police.
The most recent shooting occurred near the intersection of West 65th Street and Lorain Avenue in the Detroit-Shoreway neighborhood, according to police. The unidentified victim was taken by ambulance to MetroHealth Medical Center in unknown condition.
Police did not say if any arrests were made or offer possible motives for the shooting.
At 4 a.m. Monday, a man and woman were wounded in a shooting on the East Side in the Glenville neighborhood.
The 36-year-old woman was shot in the arm while he 23-year-old man was grazed by a bullet.
At 4:15 a.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in the back in the Buckeye-Woodhill neighborhood.
No arrests have been made in either shooting.
