The wait for Yuengling in Kentucky is over.
The oldest brewery in the U.S. is expanding distribution to the Bluegrass State, the company announced Friday.
The rollout will begin in March, according to a press release from Yuengling, and will start with Yuengling Traditional Lager along with Light Lager and Black & Tan.
Four wholesalers – Kentucky Eagle Inc., River City Distributing Inc., Clark Distributing Co. Inc., and Stagnaro Distributing – will distribute Yuengling in Kentucky, the press release said.
Kentucky is the 22nd state to sell Yuengling products. The brand made headlines in the region in March when it expanded to Indiana.
“The expansion into the great state of Kentucky is long overdue,” Dick Yuengling, president and owner of D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc. said in Friday’s statement. “We’re thrilled to bring our beer to our patiently waiting fans who have been requesting our brand for years.”
