Michigan State just added another future talent to its offense.
Aaron Young, a 2019 three-star running back from Coatesville Area High School in Pennsylvania, announced his commitment to the Spartans via Twitter on Sunday night.
At 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, Young is listed as the No. 37 running back and No. 577 player overall in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He has more than 20 total offers, including Penn State, Northwestern, Ole Miss and Stanford.
Young’s verbal commitment, which can’t become official until he signs a national letter of intent until at least the early-signing period in December, gives Michigan State three running backs in the 2019 recruiting class. He joins three-star prospects Anthony Williams Jr. from Illinois and Brandon Wright from Ohio.
The Spartans have 17 scholarship players committed for the 2019 class, which ranks No. 24 in the nation. The group is headlined by five-star offensive lineman Devontae Dobbs and four-star cornerback Julian Barnett – both from Belleville High School.
