Snow returned to Central Ohio Monday morning.
The area was placed under a Winter Weather Advisory until 10 p.m. Monday. Meteorologist Andrew Buck Michael said the area could expect over two to three inches of snowfall.
“Snow showers on and off today with 2-3″+ for most of Central and Northern Ohio and 1-3″ possible for Southern Ohio,” said Michael. “Snow moves east tonight and a few flurries lingering Tuesday and much colder.”
Michael said temperatures should remain below freezing with the high being around 28 degrees later Monday afternoon.
Snowfall was expected to last through the majority of the day. Fortunately, most schools were off due to Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
There were some school delays and closings reported. The full list can be found here.
