COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two teen girls gained entry to a home by asking to use the bathroom before robbing an elderly man, his wife and grandson, according to reports.
Police tell WCMH Channel 4 the girls, both armed with handguns, left with a small amount of cash after demanding money and jewelry.
The suspects rang the doorbell of the home at about 4 p.m. Saturday and asked to use the bathroom, 10tv.com reports.
After being let inside, they went to the bathroom but then came back out armed with guns, police say.
The 78-year-old man, his wife and grandson were not injured.
The two suspects are described as skinny, both around 5-foot-7 and with curly black hair. One was wearing a green jacket with writing, while another had a tattoo on her shoulder.
