Counterfeiting, Detroit Avenue: Police took a report April 2 from Dollar General that an employee the day before had accepted a $100 bill that turned out to be counterfeit.
Counterfeiting, Clifton Boulevard: The CVS Pharmacy at Clifton and West 117th Street reported about 3:50 a.m. March 30 that a man had tried paying for items with a counterfeit $20 bill. He was one of three men in a group that left the store and headed north.
Fleeing and eluding, Grace Avenue: Police arrested a man at about 5 a.m. April 3 for driving under suspension and fleeing and eluding. Police report the car was southbound on Grace and nearly hit parked cars. The vehicle initially failed to stop for police, but the suspect eventually was taken into custody and his car was towed.
Dangerous drugs, Orchard Avenue: Police at about noon April 4 cited two men for drug abuse.
Theft, Clifton Boulevard: Police received information at about 8 p.m. April 4 that a man on roller skates had entered the CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of West 117th Street, grabbed a bunch of items and left heading east.
Impaired driving, Lakewood Heights Boulevard: Police stopped a driver at about 1 a.m. for suspected drunken driving. The driver refused to take a breath test and was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired.
Robbery/attempted robbery, Detroit Avenue: Police responded at 11:20 p.m. March 31 to a report by a bar patron that he was standing outside smoking a cigarette when a man wearing a scarf over his face and carrying a knife attempted to rob him. Police were unable to locate a suspect.
Operating a vehicle while impaired, Detroit Avenue: Police arrested a woman at about 2:30 a.m. March 30 for operating a vehicle while impaired.
Theft, Clifton Boulevard: Police responded about 1:30 a.m. March 29 to the CVS Pharmacy at West 117th Street about a man who had taken some shaving products and run out of the store heading east. Police caught up with a suspect a short distance away in Cleveland. They arrested the suspect for petty theft.
