Indiana was the battleground for one of the most monitored Senate races in the country. Along with a few other key races, there was plenty to energize Indiana voters in the 2018 election.
Here’s who came out victorious in some key races.
Indiana Senate election results
Republican Mike Bruan defeated Democrat Joe Donnely with 53% of the vote.
Braun billed himself as a conservative businessman and a political outsider. The tactic seemed to do a good job of swaying voters.
Vanderburgh County Commissioner election results
The local County Commissioner race was about as close as it could get. Democrat Jeff Hatfield defeated Mike Duckworth by 219 votes.
Vanderburgh County Prosecutor election results
Current prosecutor, Republican Nicholas Hermann, will hold onto his seat. He defeated Democrat and former Vanderburgh prosecutor Stan Levco getting nearly 53.5 percent of the vote.
